Nature of the service

FareTag is an information service that analyzes airline ticket fare conditions and assigns a flexibility score (A to E). This service is provided for informational purposes only.

FareTag does not provide legal advice, does not sell airline tickets, and does not act as a travel agent. The information displayed does not substitute for reading the general conditions of carriage of the airline concerned.

Limitation of liability

The scores and verdicts displayed by FareTag are indicative. They are mechanically calculated from available data and may not reflect the full fare conditions applicable. Actual conditions may vary by route, date, booking channel, and airline fare changes.

FareTag shall not be held liable for any decision made based on the information displayed. Users are advised to always verify conditions directly with the airline before any purchase.

Data and sources

Fare data comes from two sources: airline distribution APIs (notably Duffel) for real-time structured data, and an editorial database of fare sheets manually verified on official airline websites.

This data may be incomplete, outdated, or inaccurate. FareTag honestly flags undisclosed axes and dates each editorial verification. Despite the care taken, no guarantee of completeness or accuracy is given.

Intellectual property

The scoring engine, verdict calculation algorithms, editorial sheets, design, and all content on the FareTag website are protected by copyright and constitute the intellectual property of FareTag.

Any reproduction, systematic extraction, or reuse of content without prior written authorization is prohibited, except for individual consultation and sharing verdicts via the features provided for that purpose.

Acceptable use

Users agree to use FareTag for personal and non-commercial purposes. Automated access (scraping, bots) is prohibited without prior written authorization.

Any use intended to overload the service, systematically extract data, or compromise the integrity of the service is prohibited.

Changes to these terms

FareTag reserves the right to modify these terms at any time. The applicable terms are those in effect at the time of use. Users are encouraged to check this page regularly.

Governing law

These terms are governed by French law. Any dispute relating to the use of FareTag shall be submitted to the competent courts of Paris, France.
