Privacy policy

Data collected

FareTag collects the following data:

• Navigation events: event type (verdict view, outbound click), timestamp, anonymized IP address hash. No tracking cookies.
• Pro waitlist: email address, locale, sign-up source. Voluntarily provided data.
• Analytics: Cloudflare Web Analytics, no cookies, no personally identifiable data.

Purposes

• Improve the service and measure usage.
• Notify subscribers of Pro offering availability.

Legal basis

Legitimate interest for anonymized analytics. Consent for waitlist sign-up.

Storage and security

Data is stored with Neon (serverless PostgreSQL database, EU/US hosting). IP addresses are irreversibly hashed before storage.

Cookies

FareTag does not use any tracking cookies. Cloudflare Web Analytics works without cookies. No cookie banner is required.
